A naming generation workshop allowed us to capture the essence of Abacus and its disruptive approach. Inspired by the vision of empowering startups in the fintech realm, we explored various creative avenues to craft a name that embodies the idea of precision, strategy, and growth—Abacus, a symbol of calculation, innovation, and limitless possibilities.

The creative direction aimed to differentiate Abacus from the traditional and (very impersonal) world of fintech, we developed a digital-first brand system that breathes freshness into the industry. Taking inspiration from rippling waves of wealth, we incorporated textured graphics and organic kaleidoscope animations. This visual identity conveys Abacus' dedication to revolutionizing fintech startups and fostering a vibrant ecosystem of growth and success.
